Single Storey, Extension, Stutton, Suffolk

Single Storey, Extension, Stutton, Suffolk

Spacious extension for a family home in Suffolk.

We recently completed a project for a client in the beautiful village of Stutton, Suffolk. The family approached us wanting to transform their home and create the spacious, family living area that they had been longing for.

We designed and built an open plan living, dining and kitchen space for our client to provide them with the perfect family setting. Adding extra space and light, aluminium bi-fold doors open the new space out onto the patio and into the garden. This is the perfect touch for indoor-outdoor living in the summer or a calming place to sit and drink a morning coffee in the winter months.

The single storey extension is paired with a vaulted ceiling making the space feel open and grand, with a glass apex above the doors adding a beautiful sign touch. This added window allows even more natural light to beam through into the downstairs space, accentuating the high-quality finishes. The room was finished in bright Whitehouse reflect the natural light and cool oak flooring to complete the look.

This extension is perfect for this family home, providing a space for cooking, eating, entertaining or simply relaxing and enjoying the views out onto the garden.

Our client says;

‘We had been planning an extension to our home for several years as we knew it would make a huge difference to our family lifestyle. It was therefore really important to us that the space turned out as we imagined.  John and his team reassured us from the start, and throughout the project, that we had certainly made the right decision in appointing John O’Connell. The team were organised, highly skilled and worked really hard to make sure that the work was done on time and within our budget.  We would not hesitate in recommending John O’Connell to anyone considering having work done to their home.’
